My progress. Slowly but surely (College Student Budget)

lol another shot, specs at 17x7 offset 42+ running 205/40/17 but I'm back on stockies until I get new tires.
The one's that came with the wheels vibrate a lot, something's off so I should just replace all 4. Going to cost me >_< but it's better then driving dangerously.

They have no leaks or bends, all straight. I believe the vibrating is because I am using two different tires in the front. One with 80% toyo proxie and one brand new nitto, same size but different tread pattern. Not sure what else can cause vibrating.
Have you ever had them checked for balance and straightness, or did you just visually inspect them for bends? It's better to use a wheel balancer.
Vibrating from wheels/tires is usually from imbalance, bends, or improper installation (in some cases not using hubcentric rings). Different tires might be noisy but shouldn't make your car vibrate.

I agree with doctordoom. Having worked in a very busy tire shop for 5 years plus run a bunch of different wheels and tires on 20+ cars, I can say from experience mis-matched tires will not cause a vibration.
I would suspect either a bent wheel, a flat spotted tire, a tossed weight, cupping due to mis-alignment, or it could be a separation, or an impact break in the sidewall of one of your tires. Definitely have a quality tire shop inspect your wheels and tires before you go spending a bunch of cash that may not be necessary.

I had a real nice guy at my local tire shop put them on the balancer and inspect them for free when I thought I might have a bent rim/slipped belt on the tire. It shouldn't cost much and should give you a less expensive alternative...especially if you already have them off. Magic seats...get ready to haul some wheels/tires.
