Very nice. You have to come do my headlights.

Hey what is with the birds singing? We have rain right now and freezing rain to come tonight.

Car looks great! greetings from a fellow Albertan, just a couple hours south...

Did you do the projector retrofit yourself?

Thanks k-man, hooray another albertan! Wish there were more of us. I got the retrofit done at TRS originally, but it got damaged in shipment and I basically had to DIY from scratch... Still haven't been paid my insurance by ups, figures.

Installed the led rear cargo and liscense plate lights recently.

Looks good, I just ordered some LEDs myself. What did the mirrors cost you? What source are you using for your JDM stuff?

Mirror covers were about 50 bucks plus shipping if I remember right. Got them on ebay, just search honda fit/jazz led mirror cover or something like that.

Honestly, I use different sources for different things. The tails I bought as part of a group buy from twpanson, a member on this board.

Other than that, the only other "jdm" thing I have is the auto climate control, which is actually from Europe. Found those parts from UK and Swedish junkyards.

The only place that I know of at the moment that sells non usdm parts is lings Honda in the uk. Their prices are quite inflated though. I'm trying to find a better source for new parts.

Nice rear lip Connor!

Installing the lip is a bit of a pain, make sure you have lots of green painter's tape to hold everything straight, remove the side panels of the stock bumper, and get ready to hack a huge hole in your driver's side bumper. I tried installing the Mugen rear bumper without cutting the stock bumper, but it's a no go. It's a bit of a commitment, so just go for it.

Be sure to post some pics when you're done the install.

Thanks guys, I followed the instructions here and watched the DIY video that college hills video made. Here's the link for the instructions http://www.bernardiparts.com/Images/...r_AII42200.pdf

I actually did it slightly differently. I attached the lip while the bumper was still off so I could bring it inside and let the tape cure in the warmth. If I did it outside, the strength of the tape bond would be compromised. Actually made it easier because I could prop up the bumper and reach bolting points easily rather than crawling around under the car.

Anyway... On to the pics!

Thanks for the info. So you went with aftermarket covers for the mirrors? How was the quality? Did they fit OK?

Is this the seller where you purchased yours?

I'm also thinking of picking up those blue tint mirrors with integrated led signal

Door Mirror Cover w LED Honda Jazz and Fit 09 GE8 JDM | eBay

Yeah, mine are aftermarket like the ones in that link. I don't remember if it's the exact same seller, but it should be the same thing.

Quality is fine, not as good as oem. But you can't tell once they are installed. They are actually really difficult to fit onto the mirror housing because one of the clips is slightly off. But it IS possible to get them on with some effort.

Check out this thread for all the info you need on mirrors. I myself plan to add auto folding mirrors at some point.

Took a side profile shot today. Flow is really good from front to rear.

Also, couldn't resist taking this short clip. LOVE the mugen + axis tail combo. Such a huge change from stock.

Definitely agree on the Mugen + Axis! All you need to do is goo-gone + polish + seal where you had the applique and it'll be cherry

But I still don't know if I want to pull the trigger on the Axis. The "jdm" ones are actually really weak as well and can't say that the whole Triton kit is the way to go for someone as electronically-inclined as I am (I have no idea how to splice and what have you) if I were to get the Axis anyway. Perhaps if the opportunity presents itself, I'll join you with the combo.

What's next!?

Haha good eye. Like my painted hood deflector, I decided to experiment by making the appliqué white. I've been meaning to do a better job with the plastidip or remove it all together. Thanks for the feedback!

The tritons are meant to be fully plug and play. I did mine a little differently cause I wanted the original signals to keep flashing with the tritons. I didn't know how to splice either, I just found a bunch of YouTube videos showing how to tap wires into other wires and followed those instructions lol.

Well I'm probably going to take it easy for 2014 because this year was more than I meant to do with the upgrades. Between retrofits, climate controls, all my various LED projects, and the mugen rear, I'm a bit over "budget".

That said, I can say for sure in 2014 my first upgrade will be to add the refridgerated upper glovebox, and later on at some point the auto folding mirrors.

I'm sure you can tell I like the EDM features

Lol yeah, I sure don't miss that snow. You should go check out the greater Vancouver section of the forum so you can see when people are meeting up, especially if you're already in town. Got some nice pics there too!
