Can't wait to get this thing bagged. Still deciding whether I should get a 5 or 10mm spacer for the rears..

I have 16x7 +42 205/50. Put 10mm spacers in back and think it's perfect. You will have to install extended studs, which for the rears means taking off the wheel bearing. No room behind the mounting plate to get the new studs in. Wasn't too much of a pain though with an impact wrench.

Hmm that's very close to mine, I was leaning towards 10mm so I agree that'll be the better choice. What did you use for spacers?

Installed my white sport grille today. Been back and forth about this one for over a year now, and now that I have it on I wish I had done it sooner lol.

Here's some pics for reference if you're still trying to decide on spacers. Specs again are 16x7 +42 205/50 with 10mm spacers in back.

Nice, that looks perfect to me too. It looks like with a more aggressive drop, it'll tuck in quite nicely without having to roll the fenders.

I think I'm sold on the 10mm, only issue I have is the whole extended stud/removing the bearing to install them. I'll have to research how that works. I remember reading people saying that spacers larger than 5mm can mess up your geometry and put extra stress on hubs and whatnot. But I don't get how that's any different than just having a different offset. So yeah, I'll have to figure all that out

Yeah, I'm just on Swift springs. I did roll and pull my fenders though, back when I had coils. You don't need to worry about 10mm affecting the susp geometry on the Fit. Especially the rear, there's so little weight back there. As far as putting in extended studs, look up some youtube videos of people removing wheel bearings on drum brakes. It's pretty straight forward, you just need a big socket (32mm if I remember correctly) and most likely an impact wrench to loosen the nut holding the bearing on. Just bang the old studs out with a hammer. There's a few diff ways people use to press in new studs. Look up videos of that too. If you ever get around to doing it, feel free to PM me any questions.

Thats a good point. I'll definitely check that out when I get around to it! Thanks for your help.

Received my tank in the mail today. Just barely fits in the spare tire area, makes the floor bulge up just a tiny bit. Small enough that it can probably be flattened out by making the underside thinner or cutting a small rectangular hole to let it fit. Even with the hole, it won't poke out. It would at worst be flush with the rest of the stock floor.

It is so nice and shiny Connor I would leave it exposed in the trunk. Could your installer not cut the legs down enough to make it sit lower?

Yeah it is nice, but I want it to look stock at first glance until you poke around under the floor. Also need all the space in the back.

Actually they don't want to cut the legs lol, it's okay because we are going to mount the tank on its side to give it the lowest profile possible.

Should be in the shop in less than 2 weeks... Well see how this plays out.
