The rear shocks are pretty damn short compared to the stock ones lol. Rear wheel hangs at 2.5 ish finger gap, even less than stock sitting on the ground. Might actually end up exchanging for adjustable rear shocks... Cause that'll be brutal in the winter.
You have seen mine Connor on Swifts. I have had no problem in winter at the rear. The ice/snow does not collect there like the front. Now in the front I was always rubbing on ice buildup. You should be OK.

Will have to see where it sits when it's down from the lift today.

I'm not going to be super anal about reaching stock clearance but if it's highest setting is still more than 1inch below stock, I'd rather have the adjustable shocks and extend them just a little bit. With the range of motion being 3-4 inches on the bags, I'll still have more than enough room to be slammed on the lowest setting anyway.

But remember my mugen ass will act like a shovel on the underside cause it's already a couple inches lower than the stock one. Plus I am not going to run around with my front higher than the rear lol!

Got the lines and all height sensors in today. I think this might be the only fit with elevel height sensors. Not 100% sure. Height sensors took a really long time, had a hell of a time trying to find mounting points for the ride height sensors. Have to cut a slot out of the gas line sheild to mount the rear sensor.

Well tomorrow is going to be a super long day because it has to get done by then.

Still not sure if I want to get the adjustable rear shocks. These look like they'll be about 2cm lower than stock fully aired up, which I'd be okay with. But well have to find out where it ends up when we bring it down.

On the other hand, I'll be about 1cm from the ground fully aired out. Wheels will be tucked all the way to the rim. Super pumped to see this in action!

There's no way you're actually worried about being two centimeters lower than stock at your highest, right? That's nothing.

I'm not worried about that small amount of height drop, I'd be okay with it if that's where it actually sat.

Thing is We haven't actually taken it off the lift yet, so we are just estimating based on measurements. The torsion beam hangs just a little past that, so I'm guessing with it fully aired up it'll ride a little lower than where it currently hangs.

The thing actually I wouldn't be too happy with is how stiff the bag might be at that height, and It would be pushing the shock near full extension so not sure how well that would ride. With a slightly longer one I could make it ride the same height without being fully extended. I did originally want it to be "drivable" at height presets 2 and 3. Height 1 I'm happy to just go as low as possible.

But enough speculation for now, well just see where it ends up sitting and riding later today.

I was just in Calgary a couple weeks ago, but didn't bring the GD. Haha. Maybe sometime again this summer!

Connor, are you going to do a mild roll on the fenders? And maybe a front lip?

Thanks guys! Damn I love this. Still got a few things left do and adjust before everything's perfect.

Nope I didn't cut out the liners or roll the fenders. We just cambered the front till it would tuck. The bags are actually able to drop the car even more than what we got now but my huge wheels are blocking it. Also gotta do an alignment big time.

Hey Vancouver guys, I'll be back late August for about a week or so.

AB guys, someone start planning lol!
