Well today I achieved something I though I never could. After fiddling around with bag psi and damping, I've finally got the fit riding nice and low with a ride quality that my wife approves of lol!

Mines the airrex GE fit kit. All shocks struts and bags come together, and you can even get their all in one management box. But I opted for accuair elevel with the ilevel controller and a smaller tank to make things more compact.

I got the same kit, and doing accuair e-level too with the pad, getting 2 compressors and 2- 3gal tank.. gonna build a false floor to still be able to use the trunk as well..... awesome

Thanks man. Haha must be hilarious going back to stock, totally different car.

it was worth it for me. I was sick of being jacked up at stock height, but I didn't want to sacrifice comfort or not worrying about scraping. So air was really the only option if I wanted all those things. Still fine tuning everything right now. When I'm cruising down the highway and I hit a small dip or a bridge lip the car does kinda leap up a bit harsher than I'd like lol. But otherwise it feels just a tiny bit stiffer than stock, and I'm riding with an inch fender gap and almost tucking the rim when fully aired out. (Have to camber like mad to make it fit though)

Thought you were getting airtekks? Nice, I like the rocker switch and ilevel combo I got right now. I just installed the switch into one of the rectangle panels in the dash.

I still gotta do some noise deadening on the compressor, if you put yours under the false floor get some isolating mounts and a ton of dynamat around the floor cause the compressors can get loud. Mines mounted behind the front bumper and I can hear it a lot in the cabin, so really gotta fix that up right now.

yea originally was gonna go airtekks but couldnt resist going for the airrex.. and I was thinking of doing the dynamat but I have heard from a couple of buddies that it doesnt make that much of a difference ... so not sure what to do just yet.

I think dynamat is mostly for noise that's transferred through the air, but if you got the compressor bolted directly to the frame the noise will transfer through the metal. To block that you gotta use something like this. BAG RIDERS | EXO COMPRESSOR MOUNT

Or this

COMPRESSOR ISOLATOR KIT - BAG RIDERS

Haven't personally tried these yet. But have heard a lot of good things about them. So gunna give it a go cause I got a lot of noise through the metal right now.

You wouldn't happen to have either a part number or some way of finding those jdm cup holder lights you have would you? I've been searching everything I can think of but only come up with led's for the center console cup lights.

Ooooh. I see you're in summer mode already. My Fit won't be seeing the roads for a while.

What are those LED fogs beside the stock ones? I've been looking for something like that that I could use as some extra visibility, but doesn't stand out and look like something easy to steal like a small light bar tucked in the lower grille would...

Vleds 6k pod lights. 200lm each. They are bright as hell it actual hurts to look directly at them. They actually throw a lot of light on the ground too. These are perfect for drls that cut through the sun and fog.

VLEDS

Vleds is imo one of if not the best place to get led lighting for automotive use. My turn signals are also vleds triton bulbs. They are quite a bit brighter than stock and actually reflect more light off angle than the stock bulbs.

Sweet! That's actually pretty damned cheap, too! Still exploring my options a bit, though. I want something that looks fairly OEM. Not to mention I'm terrible with automotive electrical systems. I think the most I've ever done in that department is replace a blower fan in my old Cavalier. I'd like to have something I could wire to a switch on the switch panel on the driver's side.

Yeah its a really good deal. All weather proofed and built in resistors and dual polarity circuitry. All you need is a good relay harness with a trigger ( my trigger is the ignition key) of your choice to run these and you can power them directly off the battery without any additional resistors.

You will need to drill 6mm holes to mount these. They have a short threaded shaft behind them that you use to clamp to your surface with a nut. I installed mine at a funny angle (to make them face more forward rather than 45 degrees out) so i ended up using silicone adhesive to hold them in place.

I was thinking along the bottom of the bumper or along the side of the lower grille, then run it to a switch rather than a relay Not sure I would want them on all the time, mostly for highway use or during low visibility situations.

Probably not along the bottom or youll lose them in the winter lol! I would put them in the foglight templates that the base bumper leaves blank.

Got the jdp wing now, next step is to paint TW

Seems they only have 5 LED strips, which look a little long to fit there. Maybe the round Morimoto ones would fit better? They don't list dimensions.

The ones i have are 25mm in diameter and 22mm long so they stick out a little bit but its worth it for the quality and brightness.
