Here's my Taffy GE8, i finally had the T1R coilvers installed and my tires mounted.

I will be ordering centercaps this week as well as hub centric rings. its pretty low for my roads, but lets see how it goes driving to work. I love the stance.

Tell me what ya'll think...

Suspension/Wheel Set up:
T1R Basics
Work XD-9 17 x 7
Kumho 4x tires 205-40-17

I like it, but your signature doesn't need to be forty lines long.

as far as the T1R's go i just drove to downtown and a little bumpy but stiff as well...no homo...i only rubbed once on a turn that had a lil dip in it...im pretty sure i only rubbed the plastic liner. If this becomes a problem, ill raise it up a 1/2" or so. but as of now, im loving the stance...car handles so much better.

I love the drop!!! had 2 CRZ's breakin neck

the installer said the coilovers looked decent...but he did say he wasnt sure why there was no rubber piece for the rear springs to sit on on the top. He said they went str8 up to the body of the car. they havent made any kind of noise so i hope i wasnt missing anything for the install...

the instructions said to use the stock honda ones but I had to do a slight modification to it so that it sat flat on the springs.

also another quick question as I have the same coilovers on, just wondering how your installer did your brake lines in the front? I used the zip ties that was provided but I'm not 100% confident on it lol

Great car I wanted white but was near impossible to find a white sport with mt. White wheels always looks great on white and black cars.

I have no noise at all, but I'd be concerned as well on that metal contact. If you saved the rubber, theres just one part you have to cut out which is this stub where the stock spring would stop at. It wont work with the coilover spring cuz the coilover spring sits flat. so I just cut that out and it allows the rubber to sit flat on the coilover spring.

im going to contact Jason @ AJR and see what he says. but i do get some creaking from the front. if the noise is persistent i will have to take it by the mechanic and ask him to go for a ride with me so he can hear what i hear. hope its nothing to worry about because i would hate to have any big issues arise right now. i cant take off of work to do much other than saturdays.

^ thanks again Josh. Hopefully the noise stays away. if anything we tighten down those shock rings later this week. Also, thanks for making me want a 5spd even more now =(

Yeah you definitely want the rubber spring seat on those rear springs. I re-used them as well when I installed my Buddy Club N+. Had to modify them as well, but all turned out great. If you threw them away, order replacements from Bernardi. And for the rings, the Fit's hub size is 56.1.

And from what I can find, the XD9 hub bore is 73.3 mm. I can only find 73.1 to 56.1 mm hub centric rings for sale tho...they'd probably work. I mean, what's 0.2 mm??? Crazy minute, that's what.
