FormulaRon's Jazz GE8
 

Hi all,

First of all, I am new to the forums. So hello everybody :). Yesterday, I made a deposit for a second hand 2009 Jazz GE8 in Azure Blue Metallic. I saw many GE8s here which are called FIT instead of Jazz. Are they the same thing? I live in the UK and they call them Jazz here.

Will be picking up my car next week hopefully. Are there any small mods I should be looking to get? Mine doesn't come with a rear spoiler so I want to get one first. Any suggestions?

1.4? Looks just like my Fit.

Yeah it is a 1.4. I think the difference between Jazz and Fit is that Fit has a different rear light than the Jazz. So does that mean if I buy parts that is for Fit, it will fit my Jazz too?

Welcome to the Forum, to answer Your question yes the Fit and the Jazz are the same car. there are a few differences between our model to your model I.E. Front and rear ends, engine options and some interior parts. It looks great and hope you enjoy it

Is the Sport Wing just a spoiler from Honda? Because my Jazz doesn't come with a spoiler and I think it looks weird without one :P

Welcome, FormulaRon! Congratulations on your purchase, and hope you enjoy your Jazz.

To answer your question, yes, the wing is a Honda wing that comes on the Sport models here in the U.S. You should be able to have your Honda dealer install the wing for you.

Thanks. But my car is no were near what some of the other cars are at, it's getting closer.

That's the joy of modding/tuning cars :) It will take a long time to get what you want for the car, unless you have lots of money, but otherwise, once the car is at the stage that you feel it is complete, you'll have plenty of fun :)

We dont have GE8 in the UK- the one you have is a GE6 just like mine.

You are correct, our Jazz like weird without a spoiler. I had an OEM lip rear spoiler but still didnt look quite right and started modding mine since I got her back in Mar'12
