Any progress on the VIP

 

sourcing parts is what making things slow. waiting for my custom clazzio so I can do the rest of the interior. wheels ordered but that won't get here 'til late August and then make it fit.

 

I got a quote full car with a windshield brow $499 for Air Blue 80 does this sound high?
I like the Air Blue 80 option since you brought it up on the forum it looks classy compared to blacked out windows and less likely of getting ticketed since I think it will be close to the 70% under New York law.

No Juke or still waiting? I like wagons actually wanted a VW Sportwagen TDI but still reliability issues and parts cost scared me away. Two issues you will not have with the Impreza.

Was just looking at options when I went in the Subaru dealer and ended buying one... these new impreza wagons just look too good lol almost went with a special edition tangerine sti they had in the showroom but kept myself in the program of buying an all year-round daily.

 

Some not so very good and good updates...

First, the BAD... my custom Clazzios failed the ETA of 8-10 weeks. I was contacted by Bean Garage that it will take another 2 weeks. Fast forward 2 weeks, I got another update that my seat covers were not included on the shipping container and will take another extra 2 weeks.
I was really hoping that shit didn't happen as I was hoping to somewhat debut my VIPed out interiors on Slammed Society come June 30 oh well... guess not

The GOOD news... the upholstery shop that would do my interiors was able to move my slot another 2 weeks, anything after that is going to be after a month, so hopefully my Clazzios will get here by then.

The other good news... some baller jdm custom pillows, neck pads and seat back pockets were just ordered. 2 weeks completion and will be shipped via EMS Japan

 

Those look nice! sorry to hear about the clazzio issue. They've had nothing but good reviews especially in the customer service department.

 

Yeah I know, I guess luck wasn't on my side :/ I might end up selling the Clazzios and have my seats reupholstered for a definite one-off interior

Also, my wheels should be here within 2 months

 

VIP FTW!!!

The Clazzio's have pockets behind both front seat covers (at about the same placement/height as the OEM one)... the VIP back pockets look short enough to not affect the other pockets... can't wait for pics of them all installed, and especially after whatever you have in store with the upholstery shop.


Been thinking of the neck pads, can't decide which ones.

 

Where did you get these tail lights?

btw, here's the options on those custom pads, pillows and pockets... pricy but definitely a better option than the already whored-out Junction Produce

dayam! too much for the small fit seats lol Garson got a lot of nice stuff.

What I'm thinking tho are those fitted mattress that cover the entire area when all seats are folded flat lol
