Adventures of Moose - a '12 TW Fit

So I've been a poster here for a bit. I've also commented on multiple builds and befriended a few of you here on the boards (at least I'd like to think I have! haha). Although my Fit hasn't come even close to half of my plans, I've postponed the journal of my Fit's modifications.

At purchase:

After purchase, I saw my old car that I had traded in while getting a quote for dvd-player install:

Size: 96.3 KB

Also not too soon after (about a week), got the Mugen rear lip installed:

Added some statement on my feelings about the car:

Size: 65.0 KB

Next mod came in the form of a sticker bombed license plate frame:

Name: 7-24001_zps31c4320a.jpg
Views: 2268
Size: 74.1 KB

After that, some "JDM" tails

Size: 135.1 KB

Had to fill up that license frame with some custom plates:

After the plates, it was time to install some JDP goodness:

I made a purchase from another member here buying their progress RSB and JDM spoiler. First, I installed the RSB with some touches of my own:

I need to dig through my photos, but next mod was the FIT brake light:

Moose was sitting handsome for a while:

Until I decided to install the JDP spoiler:

And do a rear wiper delete:

Throw in an upgrade to my crappy led lights to LED panels. Amazon ftw!:

The Christmas came a little early as I got my JDM mirrors with winker mirrors (click on picture for the video):

Continuing with an early Christmas, got my new mats (Aries 3D), which truly are the best:

Size: 117.8 KB

And my latest upgrade, adding an OEM armrest. I lost one bolt in the process, but it holds just fine. Perhaps if someone can tell me the size of it, I'll go to Lowe's or something:

Name: 026_zps1aeeacca.jpg

Size: 86.0 KB

Name: 032_zps40f8a614.jpg
Views: 2074
Size: 110.8 KB

And that's how Moose sits for now. I already have plans and there isn't much left that I feel are necessary, but lots of additional things I want too

Come out to one of our Fit-meets! If you got an IG, follow me: kiichi808. I'll let you know when we have a Fit-meet and you can come out and meet some of the guys.

Thanks! You know, I honestly don't know what it's called. I just happened to come across it at a local hardware store. Here's another picture of it. I got lucky as it was the last one of its size. Maybe someone else can chime in? But prior to finding this, I was just using a rubber plug.

Haha I feel you both! I'm going with some air for my drop so that'll be a pretty penny. Hawaii's roads aren't horrible but I'm old enough that weaving is a thing of my past now haha. At least a 5 month wait

Some pictures from mini-meets. Wish our scene was a bit bigger but I guess we keep a tight circle this way.

Very nice, wish we had a decent fit scene where I live lol. Maybe someday.

Bags sound like a good compromise, roads here are the reason I went back to stock height. Perhaps like you, they'll be somewhere in my future as well.

I've never been to Hawaii, but it seems to me that a Fit would be a perfect island car. You guys don't have a lot of freeways and all that, right? BTW, your Fit seemed tall compared to all the slammers. heh

Nice list of mods. Can you get a good side shot of the car. I'm contemplating the Mugen rear and the Jdp lip or Shuttle lips and wanna get a idea of how it looks side profile.

Exactly. Told one of the aired Fits here about your Auto-Climate swap and it's on his list of things to do now haha. We all just inspire each other.

Haha well we don't live in grass shacks or anything. We do have freeways and highways. Hawaii is within the top 5 states with the worst traffic, so imho, EV cars fit the bill much better here. There are quite a bit of recharging stations all over as well.

And tell me about it. I always like to say that I like to give contrast to the group haha.

Actually, I already knew I was going with air for whatever car was next for me since... '09? While living in Japan, I attended an af.imp meet with a buddy and I got to see how they did their cars and it was decided from there.

Helps that both of the blue fits ran/run air, and both different systems.

I'll try to get a shot tomorrow. Looks good for now but the direction I'm planning to go won't include JDP or Modulo lips.

From your pic....my Silver Sport would FIT in nicely with your group.

Nice man, it looks like a plug to a hole on a computer desk that would run wires or something like that, thanks for the pic!

Subscribed to you and will be watching for when you run bags! Gunna look bomb haha

Hey, what cargo liner do you have? Looked up Aries, but didn't see one custom-molded for the Fit. I've been looking for one, and don't care for the OEM liner. WeatherTech doesn't make one custom-fit, either.

Thanks!

It's the OEM all-weather one. Leaves some small games along the sides and back but good enough for me. Haven't had experience with the WT one.

Beautiful car man! I love the Mugen rear lip, and the OEM center console. I personally wouldn't delete the rear wiper, just because it's needed especially when backing up after driving in a rain storm.

It's a clean car though, congrats!
