Anyways, I'll spare you the boring stock photos and just get to the goods!

Anata no Seeker parts doko desuka? Ryo-sama wouldn't be too happy seeing this. :P Welcome aboard.

SeekerZero Jul 28, 2014 07:02 PM

Seeker parts coming soon :)

I love the mom and pop shop feel of Seeker. Ryo and a mechanic is all that you will find. The both of them very helpful and full of knowledge as well. Though Ryo has asked me several times why I don't just get back into a Snisen, knowing that I take the Fit on circuit often.

I've heard. I wanted to visit when I was in Japan a few years back. Never got to. I will try to when I visit again later this year though.

Welcome OP!

Bring me back Seeker rear garnish and a wing :)

SeekerZero Jul 29, 2014 02:55 PM

hahah.. I'm bringing those back for myself. I really want the Seeker wing.

Well if/when you come back, let me know. I'm about 30km southwest of central Tokyo and should be able to meet up.

Most definitely. Would love to see your GE. Went through your entire thread yesterday.

Installed the Cusco rear bar last night:

Lot easier to install than the front bar.

I think so, in conjunction with the front bar, turn-in is noticeably sharper, steering feels tighter.

It is easy to remove. A screw and nut hold the bar in place at each end, undo those and you're good to go to stuff a kayak or what have you in the back.

Thank you!

Here are some photos of the bar at the end where my brother cut into the panel for me (I have terrible jittery hands so I didn't want to make zig zags all over)

Attachment 87610

The bar itself is removable should you need to put anything large (like a kayak) in the back. But the ends you'll have to pull the panels. If you go completely back to stock.. you'll need to get new panels.

Also on the right side for the storage compartment, the front piece will need to be trimmed. For now I've left it off. I will trim it later on though.

I love your retro fit. Can I get some more information on it. What parts did you use or did you purchase a kit? Also do you use any tutorial? Thanks.

Also, if anyone wants the rear cusco strut bar. I have a brand new one for sale.

I wish I could tell you honestly, but one of my friends did it for me. I just gave him the $. I do know he sourced everything from theretrofitsource.com. He's done multiple retrofits for other friends so there's really no tutorial that he followed that I can give you.

I do know that you'll need the following:
35w Slim Ballast (or 55w, your choice)
Relays
Ignitor
I used the Morimoto D2S Projectors with plain old round shrouds (you can select the shroud you want before purchase)
Phillips 5k D2S bulbs
Loctite
Aluminum Foil Tape
An oven big enough to fit one headlight in and bake at 275 for 15 min to loosen the glue and repeat when you have everything together to put it all back in place.
It took about 4 1/2 hours to do plus another 20-25 minutes after to aim it.

You will need to pull the fuse for the DRL as well otherwise it will come on as the DRL. (It is the #15 fuse in the interior fusebox, 7.5a fuse)

That's about as much info as I can provide you man. All together it was about $220 bucks to do the retrofit. I will however ask my friend for you and see what parts specifically he ordered.

Took the plunge and got the Mugen visors! They'll be here next week. Got them direct from Japan for $121+$30 ship! Way cheaper than King Motorsports.

SeekerZero Oct 1, 2014 04:25 PM

Took the plunge and ordered the Cusco lower arm bar and J's Racing Rear Pillar Bar.

Will be ordering Cusco Coilovers next week. Wheels in December, maybe J's Exhaust Inbetween that.

SeekerZero Oct 17, 2014 04:47 PM

Coilovers ordered. Got a great deal on the Tein Flex. Couldn't beat it. Also ordered Cusco rear/front sway bar.

And the month long wait for the J's racing Exhaust, rear strut tower bar, rear pillar bar and SPL cross bar.

I'm done buying anything til wheels in December!
