WTB: Taffeta White parts

If anyone has these parts they don't need or are looking to sell in Taffeta White, please let me know. I'd prefer socal transactions to avoid costly shipping, but am open if we can work out affordable shipping arrangements.

WTB:

Taffeta White GE8 OEM Sport Side Skirts
Taffeta White GE8 OEM Sport Spoiler
Taffeta White GE8 OEM Sport Front Bumper

Thanks.

i have a TW sport spoiler that i dropped and it took some paint off in spots, i touched it back up with touch up paint. tough to tell from beyond 10feet away or so in case your looking for something cheap.

also i'm assuming your doing a base conversion, be aware that the sport side skirts are not very practical to install and you might look at the mugen sides, it is what i did. using the oem sport skirts you will need to remove undercoating, drill 16 square holes in the side body, 3 holes in the underbody, and reseal the area you removed undercoating from.

you will also need sport inner fenders to mate properly with the sport bumper.

also there is a gap in the spoiler mounting bolt and the body of about 2mm, this is normally taken up by the rivnut/shoulder of the oem mounting. if you don't put a spacer in you may deform your hatch around the holes when you tighten the bolts.

i have a couple of good methods for mounting the spoiler, 1 using (4) .5mm stainless steel shims, backed by (2) viton floursilicone sealing washers, (2) stainless fender washers, and (2) stainless locknuts. instead of drilling the 4 holes for 4 additional spoiler clips it is easier to just use 3m vhb tape in those areas.

im also getting a heavy duty rivnut installation tool for installing (2) stainless steel rivnuts to get a stock like mounting requiring only (1) .5mm stainless steel shim.

i had to order bulk of everything so could put together some parts for you if you wanted.

I might be interested in the spoiler if its not too marred. Do you have pics? Can you PM me the price?
That's great info on the spoiler. I'd be interested in the parts.
For the side skirts, do the mugen ones use a different attachment method and points than stock? I thought the mugen parts use all the OEM sport locations. I was hoping not to have to do any our very little drilling by improvising with brackets and 3m tape.

BTW are you in socal?

T.hanks

im in santa barbara, ill try and get some pics of the spoiler. the mugen sides actually only share the 2 front mounting holes that are on the inner fender with the oem sides. watch the college hills honda install video on thier website it has a good overview. the mugen sides are actually fairly non-invasive and require no drilling of any holes for a base model. the kit comes with adhesive circles to cover up the holes left from removing the oem sport sides as they aren't used (when installing on a sport model)

you might look at my thread for the bumper conversion too
