Hey Guys,

I have read all the brake threads in the GE section. I think it's time that someone came up with a list of OEM parts for brake upgrades/conversion for the GE. Not me, because I lack the knowledge, but someone else.

We already know that Wilwood has a BBK and Fastbrakes has a rear conversion. But what about an ITR brake conversion that some people say works as well? Does it really work? Wouldnt the fact that the ITR is 5 hub and the Fit is 4 hub be an issue?

What other Honda/Acura brakes Fit? 02-03 Civic Si? If so, wouldnt other BBK for this car fit the Fit as well?

Are the GD and GE brakes the same? I havent seen anyone give a definite answer. If they are, wouldnt the part numbers be the same?

It would be great to have a thread with a list of cars and part numbers whose brakes work with the GE. This way other members can just go to a local Honda/Acura dealer or shop online for what they need.

Just an idea. If anyone is up to it, please do us all a favor and have the Admins sticky that.

 

I think its a great idea but its will take some time , I know we have a least one guy working at honda on the forums he could great some junk parts for test fitting. As to anyone else doing it, it will take some money or a lot of parts sitting around.
