Last week I finally got around to installing my H&R springs. It wasn't nearly as difficult as the people on this forum make it out to be. In addition to leaving the cowling intact, we removed the outer axle retaining nut to release the axle from the spindle to reduce the threat of the axle disconnecting internally. Total install was less than 3 hrs (using 1 jack & 2 jack stands). The front is now 2.1" lower and the rear is 1.5" lower.
The cornering grip is improved and body roll reduced. The stiffer springs really substantiate the need to get rid of the stock Dunnys. I have to run 42+ lbs of air to keep them from rolling over and playing dead. It's time to move on to a stickier tire.
