Installed a set today. Works as advertised.

Many say that it's too expensive for a bunch of washers that only make a small difference, but if they last 100k miles, i think they're worth it.

Recommended.

if you replace the bolts with a beveled head set, matching grade, it does the same thing for around 50 bucks.

EDIT damn post format isnt keeping my spaces. think lugnut style cone shape under the head to center the bolt and apply pressure to maintain that centered location

Seems like there is some exageration about subframes moving on all vehicles in the video.

I agree they can move but need an unusual force applied to them, like a sideward impact, to move.

If they constantly moved back and forth while driving, there would be loose subframes, signs of wear (powdered steel around the bolts that would turn light orange as it rusts) and unusual wear marks.

I have taken many subframes out and have not seen a pattern failure or signs of movement. I have seen signs of the frame being tightened down in a different location from a previous removal and installation but no marks that show constant side to side movement.

Its also not a good idea to introduce aluminum between steel parts as it will encourage corrosion.

i agree they will center the bolts to the frame but I think thats all they will do.

Of course, these rings aren't absolutely necessary. Spigot rings are more important, IMHO.
