For some reason, 17's look small haha. Maybe because it's stock height..

Go with WHITE!!! they look so damn good lol. just a pain to keep clean but if u love your car as much as i do that shouldnt be an issue.

great choice in color. i'm also planning to go with white rims at some point, and it will probably stay stock height for a while so i'm glad you shared these pics.

I am loving those painted emblems!!! any tips? i want to paint mine blue and black :)

blassty Sep 9, 2010 01:20 AM

the emblems will have to be clipped off using a wire cutter. there's a useful thread about how to replace the oem emblems with red type r emblems: https://www.fitfreak.net/forums/2nd-...m-emblems.html

get matching paint in an aerosol if you want the paint to match. not sure if there is enough contrast to show blue and black though. i used spray paint for plastics, like some people suggested.

prep the emblems before painting. i just sanded it down. for the fronts, you can paint right on the grill after masking. but i removed mine first to make it easier. the front grill is actually a lot easier to remove than i had originally thought. just need a flat head screwdriver to pull a few pins.
