Bought Diamond racing rims....

They DO NOT RUB with stock suspention... Well they do a little on the fender liner on the inside at FULLLLLLLL lock but you never see that much lock driving.

They DO RUB the rear of the race on the caliper carrier.... but that machined itself down a mm after a trip around the block... Should be okay, after driving a bit today Ill check on em tomorrow.

Worst case I get new carriers and order some 15x8's for the front.

PS.... A WHOLLLEE LOTTTA MEXI POKE. :)

I'm going to look at 3m taping on some Z style over fenders this summer when I get new tires. Pref a 205 wide...

XD

Holy fuck. Needs some custom fender work/wide body.

solbrothers 01-14-2012 08:22 PM

that looks fucking terrible

edit: no offense

kylerwho 01-14-2012 08:28 PM

can we get a profile shot of these on and a front corner shot?

go to the same body shop felix69 went to so you can get some overfenders welded on.

solbrothers 01-14-2012 08:32 PM

isn't rear camber non-adjustable?

Fit4Trav 01-15-2012 12:19 AM

^Yes and no. They have the plastic shims...that you put between the hub and the torsion beam (not exact location).

That only applies to GDs. GEs have the spot welded on.

Cipher 01-15-2012 05:59 AM

Not going to be welding. Car has warranty and I may look at an fr-s this summer/fall.

3m tape and some Z style over fenders with a good 1 inch of poke should be good enough.

Its not going to look hella flush or stanced or even remotely make sense. But its going to be fun and bring me and my friends together.

On a side note if I can find 4x114 hub to 4x100 wheel adapters I will most likely run these on my project KAE86. Carbed KA24DE in an 86. :D

Keep us posted on the ZG "pocket style" overfenders. I'm curious if they fit the front fenders. I was looking into various styles for track fitment... and the ZGs are very popular. :popc:

Those adapters exist... wheels will look better on an AE but you're going to have a hell of a time fitting the fronts with the adapters. The rear should be fine. Maybe just do Hibino style stock front fenders it might fit without overs?
