Which wheels/rims?
Anyone able to recommend some good wheels/rims for a good price? Preferably around the $300-$500 range? I'm running on stock wheels/rims but I'd like to change them. My Fit isn't lowered yet but I plan to so if I could get something that wouldn't rub later on when I get lowered. Thanks.

Look at the CL thread the CJ has been blowing up with cool deals. https://www.fitfreak.net/forums/gene...ist-finds.html
Rims are 99% about style for 99% of people. Buy what you like in your budget. |
Save some more money.
Or Lower your car first. Aftermarket wheels look goofy at stock height. |

The budget you have now though is enough to get you some lowering springs, or could be enough to get in on theA&J Racing T1R Basics coil over group buy... |
I was planning on saving up for coil overs. Are those coil overs good? how much?

Check them out for yourself: https://www.fitfreak.net/forums/aj-r...1r-basics.html
There are several reviews on this forum if you search. Bang for $ wise, I don't think there is a better option if you are willing to sacrifice some comfort to "get low." Even then, these have relatively soft spring rates and if you don't set them up so your dragging your oil pan the ride should be good. |
$300 will get you used Rotas/XXR/Konig with no or beat tires on Craigslist or Honda-Tech.
$500 will get you used Rotas/XXR/Konig with good tires on Craigslist or Honda-tech or some new Knockoffs without tires online. Price doesn't include shipping. Just shop around online and find something you like. I also suggest dropping before wheels but some people don't mind that look. |
Ah nice coils. Not looking for a bumpy ride, kinda want smooth or just how it is right now is fine. I think I'll drop first then look into wheels/tires.

If you want a comfy ride, leave it stock.
Coils/springs will always stiffen the ride. Some like it, most hate it. |

seriously, just save that 300-500 for coilovers. stock sport fit wheels look nice on coilovers.
|
Haha alright. I'll get some coilovers. Which are good? JIC MAGIC! :p

Judging from the original post, I would say start with some springs that dial you in a little better than stock, save some more and get a wheel that you like. The car has a cool look lowered a bit and any coil overs that you get are going to be at least about a grand so that is a huge amount over your original budget if $300. GL.

If you lower the car, a good looking rim will give your car a whole new cool look. In my opinion even the 16 sport wheels look great.

I'll lower it some day haha. Dipped my wheels matte black and made the car look awesome :D

I would have saved for aftermarket and left the OEM's alone |

Looks good, I would suggest some spacers and you would be ok for awhile :)
