Thanks in advance.

Most likely when the Dunlop Dirrezza Z2* spec were recommended they were the "HOT" autocross tire. I raced on them, everyone did. Then the Bridgestone RE-71R became the hot autocross tire and everyone switched. Now most are shifting away from the RE-71R to the Yokohama ADVAN A052. Forums can be helpful, they also can be full of antiquated information.

I think they can also lead to choices that are not in line with what most people actually want.

People think they want the 'best handling' but may not know the costs associated with that grip. That is why I 'downgraded' from RT615K+ to Bridgestone S007A on my S2000 and run General GMax AS05 on my Fit.

I want the best all-around tire for my specific needs. For some that may be the Michelin Premier A/S, the A052, etc.

Folks should give more information when looking for tire recommendations & when giving them they should mention what they prioritize.

I chose the AS05 because they came in the size I wanted to run (195/50/16), they have a high treadware rating (500AA), they're made by a good company in a location with high quality standards (I generally only buy tires made in France, Germany or Japan, US if in a pinch), and the reviews from Tire Rack were very positive with the qualities I wanted.
