Wheel/Tire Combo for 1" Lift

Wheel/Tire Combo for 1" Lift
Unlike most, I'm going the opposite direction with my 2012 Fit: UP.
Why? I live in the desert southwest, where many hiking spots (and my driveway) are just a little too rough for the little Fit, but alas it's paid off and my loves it (mostly for its color) so we want to give it just a bit more functionality. The purpose of the lift isn't just for ground clearance, it's also to fit slightly taller 25" diameter tires (which I hope don't rub on the front struts).
I plan on using 2011 Insight springs with slightly longer travel shocks. Still trying to find suitable shocks.
The lift should be around 1.25".
I expect this will make the Fit a little bit more tippy, so I'd like to combat that a bit by widening the track some.
I hope to use 185/65R15 (24.5"), 195/65R15 (25") or 185/75R14 (25"). Fairly tall, narrow tires.
I'm wondering if since I'm not lowering the car, and I'm not going with super wide wheels, if I can't go up to a +35 or +30 offset wheel? It looks like 7" wide and +35 is pretty flush with the fender.
Any suggestions?

I have not. My original plan was to use the 2nd Gen Insight springs for a 1-1.5" lift, but the inability to adjust rear toe means I probably can't go that drastic on my 2012.
I may just do a 1/2" spacer install as I doubt that'd much impact on rear tire wear.

Has anyone ever got a good answer for this?
I'm in a rural area, and tired of grounding out on all the freshly gravelled roads, I'm thinking of adding 2" to the tire diameter to get a 1" lift. Hoping to put a set of 205/70R15's on the stock steel wheels. Too much??

I went with 185/65/15’s. I tried a set of 195’s on and I didn’t like the gearing on the highway with it. 5 gear became useless to maintain speed on even the slightest hill. Too lugging for my liking.
I do know a guy running 205/60/15 on et53 backspaced wheels with no rubbing as well.
Its possible 205/70/15 may fit with a lift, but honestly I think I will drive like shit on the highway and hills.

I went cheap but with a higher load rating if I recall.
Toyo NanoEnergy 3 185/65R15 92T XL.
The aren’t gravel tires by any means but did just fine driving to Mongolia and back.
