Gk5 fender roll tips / advise from experienced users please ....

I'm looking to fender roll my gk5 for some aggressive set up.

Anyone here have any tips / advise from those who have done it? Our gk5 fender lip is pretty thin to begin with compare to all of my pass Hondas.

Thanks

Just take your time.

+1 on patience

I used a heat gun to soften the area I was rolling and took my time. It feels like you are making almost no progress, but small adjustments to the fender-roller is the key.

Yes! I felt like I wasn't doing anything on the first fender and rushed/pushed too hard and got a tiny crease. Take it slow and use heat.

Did u guys end up cutting the inner plastic fender liner a bit where it meets the fender?

Also the front has a few clips that holds the fender liner to the fender... Did u guys remove those clips?

Thx

Yes I did have to trim the fender liner some where it meets the lip. Don't remember having to trim the clips but I might have. I was not running an aggressive wheel setup or anything.
