Roof Rack
So, Yakima has no plans to manufacture a roof rack for the '15. Thule has nothing online so far. Any guidance out there on a workaround?

I knew I saw somebody talking about this earlier who made it work: https://www.fitfreak.net/forums/3rd-...ggestions.html

Has anyone ever seen a chart with the dimensions on the clips themselves? I cant believe there isnt a clip that wouldn't fit.

Roof racks are a dealer option in Australia so you might be able to get info from one of our dealers or Honda oz

I heard the same thing from Yakima. I even called Honda Australia to see if I could get the Jazz roof rack sent to the U.S. - but they declined. I decided to go with the SeaSucker roof rack (https://www.seasucker.com/shop/). It works great for my 9.5 ft surfboard. Using it was a little scary at first, but so far I'm confident and impressed. My Fit (6 spd LX) hasn't arrived yet, but the SeaSucker surfboard rack works great on my girlfriends Prius.

Inno roof rack
I was using at Thule, square bars with #21 fit brackets (tag sale deal for $25) on my 2010 Fit. It wasn't perfect and had to slip it around to find a solid grip. I tried mounting in on my new 2015 LX and just was not happy with the grip. I read through this thread and decided to give Inno a try. I ordered using 2013 Fit from Auto Anything because of their excellent return policy. I'll post the result

@ Macfolk - You could go with a custom rail setup that would require holes to be drilled into your roof. Advantage there would be that you'd be able to spread the bars out for whatever you're carrying.
* I read somewhere in here that the roof edges on the GK were too weak to handle the typical setup. Hope this helps. |
There are some places that can do custom installations where they use Yakima landing pads and mount it directly to the roof, instead of clipped on with the Q Towers. I got mine done at Rack N Road for $485 or something, parts and labor.

Inno rack
If I'm not happy with the Inno fit, I'll be looking into fixed roof rails. Thank you for the continued support.
