I always ask the dealer to remove their sticker and/or license plate advertising before I take delivery. It's just a thing with me even though my dealership is tiptop. It's never been a problem to get this done and I wonder if they would remove the Fit badge for someone. I don't mind that badge personally.

Debadged. Looks way cleaner now. The car is new and it still had all kinds of dirt around the badge.

Does anyone have a picture of the rear end on a steel metallic version without the badge? I was already thinking of doing this, but would love to see the finished product before I start.
|
Does anyone know what the font is? I have access to some 3D printers, and I'd love to replace the word FIT with "BAT" - just another subtle update to my Batgirl Mobile.

Went and did it and I like it. That goo was really caked on there; fingernails, WD40 and soft cloth did the trick. Looks so pristine now ...

I used heat gun at the highest settings (wear some gloves because the emblem is gonna be hot as heck). Afterwards use goo gone or something like that. My dealer put on their stupid logo. I removed it and it caused paint to chip off. Dealership gave me touch up paint that made it worse. I'll eventually get it painted...
