Console ACC Fuse?

I used the ACC power outlet in the center console to power a cheap 12vdc vacuum and blew something. I checked all the fuse's I know and can't find the problem. Is it possible that I fried a wire? The plug end of the portable vacuum was way too hot to even touch.

I can't find the right fuse, the manual says it is a 20A in the fuse box under the dash with the black cover, but I checked all fuses in all 3 box's.

Somebody, please help, I'm new to the FIT and this is a stumper.

The assumption is fuse location 17, ACC socket (console) 20 A is not blown, did you verify that there is still power in the ACC socket? With ignition to on, verify there is power with a cigarette lighter plug or a GPS, or any 12 volt device. Check your 12v vac to see if there is a short, high resistance or no resistance at all.

No ACC power

All the fuses test good, but there is no power at the ACC socket. I guess I could meter from the center pin of the socket to the fuse.

My only problem is that I see the ACC console fuse in like 2 different boxes. All fuses good, but no power, I think I identified the right ones.

Bad console socket? There are two "console" power outlets. Page 149 in the owner manual. One is called console panel, and the other called console compartment. How did you determined that there is no power from the socket(s)? Use a volt meter? Bad socket?

Still no power

Socket it the one that is near the backseat in the console. New car, only 6800 miles. The socket looks good. I might have to take it to the dealer.

I thought it would be a quick fix, just pop a fuse out and boom, done. Never thought it was so complicated.

I'm out of ideas. Thanks for all your help.

PS, its a 2020

Please come back, and let us know what the problem was. The wire on the back of the socket is usually a push-on fitting. My guess is that the connector expanded from the heat and fell off.
