If you ever forget to reconnect the GK Fit's MAF Sensor

The fastest way to reset your GK Fit's MAP sensor after leaving it unplugged after an engine air filter change is to: (1) reconnect the MAF sensor with the engine off, (2) pull the NEG - battery for 10 minutes (clean the connection and put more dielectric grease on the connection, (3) reconnect the battery using a 10mm socket, and (4) drive. Otherwise after multiple drive cycles P0102 and P0113 will persist until cleared and you'll have a Christmas tree color extravaganza on the dashboard: Steering, DSC, tire pressure, and and solid Check Engine (MIL) lights stay lit.

Driving the car with the MAF sensor disconnected (in the driveway) felt like the stumblings of an old carbureted Chevrolet Cavalier with 100K miles.

Now you know.

You don't need to unplug it to change the air filter
