I have read this entire thread, and I have gotten entirely too many ideas. You all are doing very interesting things with your cars; I wish I felt comfortable doing some of the more rigorous mods, but I have only very basic knowledge of cars. Plus, this is my car purchased new, and I am wary about messing it up!

As such, we will be keeping it rather basic/practical. So far, have ordered and will install after arrival:
Interior LED lighting
OEM body molding
OEM rear bumper applique
Stainless steel door sill covers (the ones from AliExpress mentioned on this thread)
Side mirror visors
Blind spot mirror for driver's side mirror
Husky Liners Weatherbeater floor mats
3M Scotchgard Clear Bra Paint Protection Film
Rubbermaid Triple Cargo Organizer

We are still deciding what to do about protection in the trunk/back of 2nd row when folded down. We may go the DIY liner route discussed in the thread.

I'm looking forward to getting all the stuff and putting it on; hopefully we don't mess up any of it! After all this is on, we'll be putting our bike rack on that will be moved over from our old car.

Wiper mod? That sounds interesting.

Now that's funny. I followed the trail, and it led back to a post I made.

What size 3M film did you get, and where will it go? I put it on the door sills, rear bumper, and under the gas filler.

I got the 12x60 film. Wasn't sure how much I would need/mess up, and I figured it would be best to have too much than too little. I figured I would start by doing the backs of the side mirrors and headlights to practice (since the largest film I've ever put on previously was on an iPad ), and then do the front and rear bumpers and hood. Wish me luck!

Nice. I've stopped buying them because I seldom used them. I have two that were virtually never used - total waste of money. A lot depends on the car. I had one for a big Buick and another for a Nissan Cube. Both were difficult to put on and remove. My Civic cover, from 1980, was easy on and easy off.

Went with JDM.

Now thinking about pulling the black and going carbon fiber and then matching the hood and pillars.

I did the LX rear garnish swap on my black EX. It looks so much better than the "chrome"
thanks, man!

Did you end up going with the black anodized or the black delrin knob? Do you like it? Did you have to do anything special with the shift boot? It looks to sit very nice in your photo. I'm in the market for a weighted knob, but pretty unfamiliar with what's good... and I'd like to not have to tear out my whole center console for my first project.

Thanks!

Just noticed another difference between USDM and AUDM Fit/Jazz as we get HDMI plus 2 USB to your 1 USB. A strange place to save probably only a dollar or two.

Any chance you can post the seller or the item number for the cover? Really like how this one looks on the car.

Thanks!

Yeah, it fits amazingly. Very snug. My wife asked if I "put the car to bed" the first time I put the cover on. Unfortunately I think the Ebay seller was a one shot deal. His girlfriend drives a Fit and wanted a cover. He bought a top of the line Covercraft for $400 for it. She decides she no longer wants it and he puts it on Ebay. It was a 'Buy It Now' @ $275. It ended without any buyers and I contacted him since I watch Ebay like a hawk for Fit items and told him I would love to have it for $200 plus shipping. I told him I was in the market for one and would rather him recoup a bit of the cost than get the Honda OEM cover. He was incredibly nice and chose to take a big hit on it and sell it to me.

He bought it from Autogeek. There is a part number G65022. But, I dont know if that is Autogeek or Covercraft's number. Here is a link to it:

Nice catch robertsmithfromthecure. The cover does have a very cut-to-Fit look.
