Gen 3 2015 Fit Hybrid 0-60 in <7.87 Second Stock
For those of you who think Hybrid is slow:
It hit 0-62 in 7.87 second! The hybrid fit is incredibly fast with its 7-speed DCT and electric motor. The hybrid FIT weights the same as regular CVT fit. We are missing out on that hugely here in the US. The hybrid fit is FASTER and MORE EFFICIENT. |
You know they were going downhill.

Is this the same Hybrid Fit in this Top Speed article --> Top Speed That measures 0-60 in 12 seconds with the i-DCD system that includes a seven-speed DCT system with a built-in high output motor? I confused?? |

The 7 speed DCT has a really low first gear, combined with the ridiculous high low end torque of an electric motor, sub 8 second with a light 2500lb body is totally possible. |

Is the Hybrid ever coming to North America ?

Not like in near term...

Honda loves 86-mpg Fit Hybrid in Japan, 'may reevaluate' for US The chance is still quite slim I think. |
S-mode in the Hybrid completely changes the car. It's ridiculously fast!
I picked up my first speeding ticket last week playing with it on the highway  |

8 second 0-60 and incredibly fast don't belong in the same sentence.

compared to the prius at 10 seconds, its a respectable time especially if it gets better fuel economy than toyota's flagship model
I recall a article by a pphysic professor at UWGB that said the best case scenario for a hybrid is 80 MPG...based on law of thermodynamics and physics. If Honda actually invented a miracle device that can beat the law of thermodynamics and physics by 6 MPG, then it is headline news...and why is Honda holding back the car from US is bizarre. This would easily be the "Car of the Year." |
