Range of driving height in 2015 Fit??

I know that the 2015 Fit will be a big hit with those of you in your 20's, 30's, 40's, and 50's. But for those of us in our 60's who buy cars once every 10 or 20 years, we start thinking about boring issues such as getting in and getting out of our cars!! I've driven my 1995 Accord since it was new, but now I'm looking for a higher driving position. I'm not a fan of SUV's. The Fit is a solid candidate, but I don't think it sits quite as high as a Kia Soul or a Subaru XV Crosstrek. On the other hand, the Fit appears to be one hell of a car -- great looks, great reviews, more "oomph" than the other two. Any opinions on driving height from other seasoned citizens??

I'm only in my 40's, but I want to share my perspective with you since I came from an Accord to the Fit. Even though I think the stance of the Fit is a bit lower, it doesn't feel lower to me. I also find it easier to get in/out of. That's my perception of the difference in the two cars. So if you're wanting something higher up than an Accord, the Fit might not work for you.

However, if you are seriously considering it, add it to your to-do test drive list! It won't hurt to have a little fun in the decision making process.

68 Years old, and I to think of vehicles now days that allow use older folks to get in and out of them. I chose the Fit because it is suited for my needs including the ease of getting in/out. The Soul is a nice SUV, but is larger, and cost a bit more depending on the model, not to mention the reliability factor. Try one out to be sure of your final decision.

I have a 08 Fit (81,000 miles), and will be buying a 2015 Fit come September or so.
My wife and I are both 66, and the Fit has an excellent seat height for me, 5'10" and my wife 5'6".
My wife has mobility issues (arthritis and nerve problems in her legs), and she finds the seat height on the Fit very good for her getting in and out of the car. By the way, her car is a 2013 Elantra GT, the seat height is a couple inches higher in her Elantra GT.

I am 72 and have my Fit dropped on Swifts -). I have no problem with getting in and out but my wife with two hip replacements and a bad back has difficulty. She does however think the ride is not too bad most of the time. It does ride rough being lowered.

It is nice to have the Caravan as backup. She drives that all the time.
