got my ex-l last night..here's my shory story
I was originally looking to get a blue or white ex-l w/o navi but a dealer I was in touch with called me and said he had a blue with navi available. Since I had only seen a blue one in pictures I really wanted to see it in person even tho it wasn't the trim I was interested in. So I went to the dealer and was wowed by the color. It's near impossible to find an ex-l in the SF Bay Area and all the dealers I talked to said they didn't have a clue when they would be getting in more stock. Well I went ahead and bought it! I've only had it for 12 hrs so I can't give you any info on how it performs but I will keep you posted.
Here's the purchasing info: $21590. MSRP $368.75 doc fees, registration, license fees $1950.30 calif state tax $23,909.05 Total cost I traded in my 2008 CR-V for $11,500 (they at first offered me $10,500 and I said that won't work, think it over and come back with a higher price) they countered with $11,500 which I was satisfied with. Jackpot: I found a set of wheel locks in the glove compartment which I didn't ask for or pay for so that was a nice surprise! All that's left is to get my windows tinted, some all weather floor mats, and learn the navigation system! Feel free to ask questions, I will post pix when I can. Let me know if you have any questions. |
Congratulations on your new Fit! Definitely post some pictures and your impressions of the car as you can.

Congrats on the new Fit. Lotsa FF's groups in the Bay area. You should be in good company!!! Waiting for your pics and enjoy the drive!!

Congrats! Blue was my second choice, but only by a very tiny margin. If they would have found it before the white one I bought, I would have taken it instead. I got the EX and now we were thinking the EX-L Navi might have been a better decision....only because my husband's maps program on his Galaxy S4 keeps crashing. I can't wait to see your blue one. Post pics real soon!

I got it at Stevens Creek Honda in San Jose, it was the last one left. You can also try Anderson Honda in Palo Alto they have a couple of ex-L's with navi but they are in black which I didn't want. good luck!

I thought at the time $19,889 cdn for GD3 LX was bad, looks like I'm laughing now

Anderson seems to keep getting in a fair number of them, though maybe not the EX-L navis. The weekend I went in for a test drive (admittedly about a month ago) they had probably 5 or 6. I put down a deposit on an Aegean and have been waiting patiently for one to come in, but the dates keep getting pushed back, and I've been receiving e-mail after e-mail about how I just need to be patient.
Congrats on the new car, Maui! I'd love to see pictures of it, since I'm still waiting on my little blue baby. :) |
