Key Fob Window Lowering Trick
Hi everyone,
I've been watching this forum for many years ever since I got my 2010 Fit, and recently upgraded to a 2015 Fit EV! Anyway, I've watched a few videos online of other recent Honda's that have a simple feature that lowers the windows if you double click the unlock button. I haven't been able to get the Fit to do it; granted it may not be able to do it at all. I wanted to see if anyone has tried, or knows if it can or can not do it! It seems like a simple little thing to include in the computer programming, I was hoping it would be there... |
Hold unlock on the second press and the windows should come down if it has the feature. I THINK the EX models have it for the third generation... Not sure about the second gen EV models since I've NEVER even seen one in person.
Again... "Unlock" then "unlock and hold"... and if you have the feature your windows should roll down. |
I just tried it on my EX and unless there is a parameter to change it doesn't work :(

Okay, well the GK may not have the feature then. Thank you two for checking.

This was one of the first things I tried when I bought my GK. On the rare occasion I drive my mom's accord, I love doing it.
I was a little sad to see the GK didn't get it. |

Eh, I didn't expect a budget hatchback to have push button ignition and proximity entry, but it does.
That is true. But still, they are unexpected features Perhaps that is Hondas attempt at getting more customers, having nice lil bits and surprises :p |
