I'm the GK5 owner from Taiwan, So please forgive my poor english.
I'm so exciting to visit Fit Freak, cause I want know how you guys will tunning your GK5.
But in Taiwan we don't have the new ED engine, so I came to visit here to figure out what different between the new and old engine.
And you are so lucky to have a 6MT Gk5 in U.S, cause we only have the CVT transmission.

Anyways I'm so glad to know this forum.

Is the Mugen style body kit something that you fitted yourself and if so where did you order it from? I have been looking at the kits from Thailand and the Philippines but they only have a lip for existing front bumper not a whole front bumper like yours.

 

Wow that mugen kit is beautiful!

I think the mugen floor mats are from a GE8.

 

Tell me more about the LED headlights

 

this mugen style bumper is design and made by my friend, and I can help you to get this bumper around december cause this bumper was the first one by plastic bumper.

spec about the head light in Taiwan is H4, I don't know is this the same as usdm, but in Taiwan led head light have many spec such as h11,h4,9005,9006,9007...etc

So if you need to help you can tell me I can help you to get this led head light,.

Engine is a 1.5L I-4 that's direct-injected (fuel is sprayed right in the chamber, instead of across the back of a valve like in port injecting) making 130hp @ 6600rpm and 114 ft-lb tq @ 4400RPM. Most users (myself included) are reporting mileage figures north of 40mpg.

Speaking of, does anyone know where we can get some of this sweet mugen hardware in the states?

 

The reason I say that is because someone else also mentioned how the floor mats don't line up that well. Mugen is known for making great quality parts, so for them to make floor mats that don't fit or line up is hard to believe.

So I thought yours were the mats from the GE8, which would make sense why they don't fit exactly. Here is a floor mat from a USDM GE8. Notice how the fitment is perfect.http://www.hondapartssuperstore.com/...floor-mats.jpg
