At what OD exactly should I expect the Tranny Oil Light to come on in my 2015 LX CVT?

I'm getting ready to replace the HCF-2 in the CVT.

Dealer said 30 K mi. service should get AT fluid change. I just had them do it at 30k. If you can do it yourself, I've read here, to change it 3 or 4 times, driving it between changes to get the fluid 100% replaced.

wrench light comes on at 30k miles

Dealer said change ATF at 30k. Check owners manual for meaning of service light codes.

Does the 2015 Honda Fit manual or any official Honda corporate documentation state that the CVT oil should be changed at 30,000 miles?

I think the dealer is screwing you. 30K is way too early to require a tranny fluid change. The GE suggests changing every 5 years.

RTFM.

I agree, I've never heard of any transmission fluid that required a change so early.

Despite the advent of the maintenance minder, many dealers still try to upsell customers by recommending more frequent servicing. The dealer makes more money, it probably won't hurt the car, just your wallet.
