Fit doesn't honk when locking and unlocking.
As the title says whenever I lock/unlock my doors the car no longer honks.
One thing I did do differently today is that I re-calibrated my TPSM this morning and I accidentally pressed a button underneath the TPSM button that I think is for the alarm system and now the blue LED is constantly on. https://i.imgur.com/trl32n7.jpg Any suggestions?? |
Sounds like an aftermarket alarm system. I never had honks or a blue LED in my 2015.

New 2016 Honda Fit EX.
Doesn't honk. Beeps. Which actually I like better. Late night it doesn't wake the neighbors. |
I'm not near the car right now but I am recalling different things happening if you do multiple presses of the buttons, in particular when locking the car there may be an audible signal if you press the lock button twice. Twice on the unlock button I know unlocks all doors but maybe holding down on the button makes a louder sound? I'd experiment. Usually I don't need an audible signal to find the car -- one of the advantages of having the Mystic Yellow Pearl. :)

It does honk after the 2nd press of the lock button. Specifically, it will honk the low tone horn.

No horn honking, just two beeps on opening and one on locking. 2015 EX.
