What is your favorite feature?

1. What is your favorite Feature?

2.what is your fav safety feature?

3. What is the one feature that you would not give up?

1. Eco mode. Even though my highest mpg was 47 with eco mode off. Lol

2. Safety would be the back up and lanewatch cameras.

Mak it Makes much easier to switch lanes, especially on the interstate going 70 mph. Not having to turn all the way back to see blind spot. Makes it safer
3. Would be the smart key/ push start.

Thought this would be a fun thread.

1. Fave feature - 6 spd manual trans

2. Fave safety feature - VSC, or whatever Honda labels it...it's pretty unobtrusive compared to the nannies in some other cars I've driven

3. Feature I would not give up - 6 spd manual trans

Rob H 03-04-2017 12:11 AM

1. Fave feature - Bluetooth

2. Fave safety feature - I could care less about the safety features. You're supposed to drive the car. If I had to pick something, I guess it would be seatbelts/airbags. I guess they might save my life in an accident?

3. Feature I would not give up - 6 speed manual transmission

wasserball 03-04-2017 08:36 AM

stet stet stet.

wasserball 03-04-2017 08:41 AM

1. CVT (enjoying not having to shift from all my other cars)
2. The solid sound of closing the doors.
3. Flexible seating and storage configuration.

Least favorable: Backup camera that does not give a sense of distance. I hate it, I hate it, I hate it. Useless!

stembridge 03-04-2017 03:11 PM

1. High degree of utility (e.g. go autocrossing in the morning and haul a dishwasher home at 40 MPG in the afternoon)
2. Decent crash ratings in a sub-compact size.
3. Configurability of seats/cargo space.

1 -- tall mode. I absolutely love it and use it all the time; it's where I put my work bag. Side bonus: Gives me that coupe feeling.
2 -- Never really thought about it much, but I guess it would be antilock or traction control
3 -- 6MT.

exl500 03-04-2017 04:05 PM

1. Sunroof
2. Lanewatch and backup camera.
3. Keyless start.

Uncle Gary 03-04-2017 06:38 PM

1. Unbeatable combination of sportiness/fun to drive and utility and fuel efficiency. The Fit packs like a van and drives like a sports car, while getting 40+ MPG.

2. Probably lane watch and back-up cameras. Other safety features like VSA and ABS I haven't used yet so I can't comment on them.

3. 6MT.

max503 03-05-2017 10:34 AM

Bluetooth.
The fact that I can sleep in the back of my Fit if I scoot the passenger seat forward. I'm short-ish.

Favorite Feature?
I like the sunroof on my EX.
And then I would say...the overall niceness of the entire interior.
The Dash, the screen, all are nicer than you would expect from a small sub-compact.
Of course the configuration capabilities of the interior also are great.

Least Favorite:
So far I've had problems with The Wiper Blades and the indirect TPMS system giving false warnings.

I actually LIKE TPMS...but I think the indirect system on the FIT is kinda crappy.

Another vote for utility, never would have thought I would be hauling a washer, then a couple months later, a dryer.

The 6MT, and handling, reminds me so much of our old '89 CRX Si 5-spd (RIP, *snif*)

Bluetooth, which made my life a lot easier than I'd ever expected.

Least favorite (not that anyone asked): cabin noise at freeway speed

Can I add Lanewatch to my No. 2? I don't really use it much in normal day-to-day but I've been turning it on more and more when the street has a bike lane. I was using it last night and it's perfect to see if a bike is coming up on you when you're stopped at a light or in traffic.

Can you please elaborate? Are you referring to the refresh-mode? I'm a short guy, too and I've slept in my Fit many many times but the only way for me to do that to is to move the driver seat all the way back and then lower the back of the seat to a near horizontal position kindda like this

Yeah, kinda. If you pop the headrests off and move the front seats up then recline all the way back, you can get pretty much full horizontal ... it's a bit lumpy and not perfect but if you've been driving for 14 hours and you can find a quiet dark spot in a place where you won't be bothered you could get a good six hours give or take.

I'm going to add that I love the EX seat fabric pattern. So Jetsons I named my car Elroy.

kanadary 03-16-2017 07:53 PM

My fav is the way you can lift up the rear seat cushion to allow your dog to roam in there

Press Fit 03-17-2017 09:16 AM

I like the exterior temperature thermometer. I never had one before. It is especially useful when traveling in the mountains when temperatures are wobbling around freezing.
