New-to-me 2015 Fit ex cvt won't start

Had the car about a week. Haven't driven it in 3 days. Warm weather. In a garage.

Pushed the start button (after pressing break) and nothing happened. Nada. Not a sound. Tried interior lights....not working (not sure that's an issue?...haven't read the manual yet as I'm also in the process of buying a house and just haven't had time).

It's Sunday, so nothing will happen today. It still is under warranty, so will check that tomorrow.

But really...any ideas? Serious bummer to have a car one week and it not work. My mechanic gave it flying colors for the purchase inspection. I'm seriously disappointed. Also, it was bought from Vroom. I know, I know. But is this a known problem? The not starting thing? I did have some pause before purchase because it's had 2 owners in 2 years (one owner moved to another state)....but like I said, my mechanic really liked the car.

fyi: 17k+ miles on it. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Battery. See if you can get a boost from someone and I bet it'll start.

My battery went dead a couple of months ago. Turns out I left the dome light on and 2 days later when I tried to start it - it wouldn't. Hopefully it's something as simple as that for you.

yah, also check the battery terminals in the engine bay. could be loose.

Got to be the battery. As this is my first car with push button start, I was curious how the car would react during a low voltage (i.e. low battery) situation.

Please report back on what you find.

This is why I spent a few bucks for warm colored LED lights to reduce the chance of complete drain in the same event. Only takes a few minutes with a plastic butter knife to install and few minutes mouse clicking around on amazon to order. :D
