I have a 2016 Fit with sunroof and had a lot of water in the driver floorboard. Honda charged me $149 to find the leak. It was the sunroof drains. We did have a downpour. Frustrating. My first car with a sunroof. My brother has the 2015 and no leaks from his sunroof.

Consider it a $149 education. I've owned countless sunroofs dating back to a 1980 Prelude that was my first. Own 3 with sunroofs right now. Never had one with a leak.

Key is ALL in the drains. Even a brand new car can have problems if it is sitting under the right tree or getting the right debris into the channels and blocking the drains.

I once bought a Nissan 240sx for dirt cheap. Owner told me it had an electrical problem and a leaking sunroof. The "electrical problem" was fixed by removing a faulty aftermarket alarm. The sunroof "leak" was fixed once I removed the roughly 2 lbs of silicone sealant he put all over the roof and cleaned out the drains. He, as well as many others, mistakenly think that sunroofs are meant to seal to the car. They are not. They are designed to leak into the channels and then drain through the body down to the ground. If water is getting into the passenger compartment, the drains aren't working.
