Floppy cup holder

So I pulled the cupholder next to the driver's door on my 2018, a little too far out. Heard what sounded like some springs popping....and now it's all floppy. Anyone have a solution for this (I'm hoping it's not taking the dash apart)

Dealership. Warranty.

I did that too. I had to take it apart and put the spring back in place. Works perfectly.

well it was my fault. I was intentionally pulling on it...trying to get the top arms to come out, so I could run some wires thru it. So, it wasn't a flaw...I just didn't know there were springs holding it in place...

did you have to take the whole dash apart? Or can you take just the cupholder section off on it's own?

You'll need to pull out #2, pull the drivers rubber door trim a bit to a small cover to get to #13, then pull #8 (disconnect one connector for the Eco and traction control button).

At this point I think there is a screw or two (maybe more) before you can pull out #3.

It was awhile ago that I did this.

Take out your wires so there's no evidence you were messing with anything, then let the dealer replace or reassemble it under warranty?

This is cool, but will it fit LHD Fits?

Yes it will.

YAC YC-H4 compatible with 2010 Honda Fit Sport

is this compatible with a 2010 Honda Fit? The cupholder in the 2009-2013 doesn't have a hinge, so wondering if this will work with the non-hinge driver side cupholder.

I'll bring back to life this thread since I had to remove it because I accidentally spilled a soda and wanted to clean it.....

Yo do not have to remove the dash... The floppy part can be removed by itself...

The part circled in red has to be pushed down firmly while pulling it out to free it from the hole in the dash and after that you just pull the part up and it will pop out without any problem....
