I think to really call it complete, you need to hang a cowbell to your rear tow hook. Preferably red if you can find one.

Truck nuts will also suffice.

Maybe I'll hang them from the car's "live rear axle"...

Downside? They cost at least two fit monthly payments!

I HATE TO SAY IT BUT I SAW A SET OF THESE ON "WISH.COM" THEY WERE CHEAP AND MIGHT NEED A BIT OF TRANSPARENT VINYL TO MAKE THEN RED I LOOKED PRETTY COOLTHOUGH

ub-centric spacers ub-centric spacers
today along with some black hex key lug nuts.

FWIW, I put some anti-seize on the mating surfaces before installing

It definitely looks better, but under heavy compression on either side I can hear some (not much) rubbing. I believe it may be coming from the (fabric-ish?) wheel well liners. At the top of the wheel wells, the liners don't sit flat against the fender like it seems they should.

I like the look of the black lug nuts too. The ad said they were "closed end", but they are in fact open all the way thru. Also, I just reread the ad and it says "Oversized and taper to ensure best contact design for aftermarket wheels not for factory oem wheels..." Hmmm... [/QUOTE]
DAMN THESE LOOK GREAT, MAKES ME WANT TO DO IT - CAN I GET A FURTHER AWAY PIC WITH A COUPLE DIFFERENT ANGLES

can.

Thankfully the manufacturer labeled it for me in case I forget what it is...

I found this bracket in the garage; I think it's a garage door track bracket? It seemed like a good fit.

DID I MISS SOMETHING? I'VE OWNED THREE FITS AND DONT REMEMBER AN ISSUE WITH OIL - IS IT A DIRECT INJECTED THING AS MINE WERE (AND CURRENT ONE) WEREN'T HAVEING ANY PROBLEM

Thank you for the positive feedback; here is the "finished" build, springs and all.

Wow! Great job on the build.

This is meant as a compliment...It looks way too good to be slow!

I wish Honda would offer your build with the 1.5t and 6-speed manual and call it a Fit Si. It has all the right looks to back up an Si badge. Just not the performance.

Nice looking Fit. Will it climb your trailer OK being lowered?

GAFIT yes the Fit could use the 1.5 turbo, but until then it's a slow car fast deal.

It's funny how often I have been getting "challenged" by other cars on my daily commute. I usually "let them win..."

Not ready for the trailer yet but it better get up there. I do have a set of
RhinoGear ramps RhinoGear ramps
and the car goes up and down (front and back) without issue.

I have considered one, for me it would have to be an exact match paint wise, and look like it could be OEM . I've also considered a smaller mast antenna. So far I haven't found anything that motivated me... Got a recommendation?

It does look faster than it is. Nice tasteful mods. The flaps even look better than I would have thought, lol!

For the shark fin, you could get an OEM Honda antenna for the current gen Civic or HRV. Have a search on the forum and you'll find both have been installed successfully on a Fit. Also way cheaper (and probably better quality) than overpriced Beatsonic or Visual Garage antennas.

In my case, I was lucky this one matched the oem paint damn near perfect. Beat-Sonic FDA4S:
Amazon Amazon

In the event that it dindt match, I would have returned it to amazon, and went with a black one. you could in theory buy a bunch of white ones, and return the ones that dont work out. OR just get a black one and call it a day?

As always, try to get it for cheaper on amazon warehouse deals, example:
