Shocked at the price of a mirror skull
 

I want a new left mirror skull for my 2016 Honda Fit (part #76251-T5R-A01ZE). I can't believe that it costs $120 to replace the left mirror skull. it looks like a piece of plastic. Am i missing something? Do you guys know a cheaper alternative to this?

Maybe ebay? Though the 76251-T5R-A01ZE is factory painted.

I used to work for MINI. The unpainted mirror caps were like $60 per, and a set of the novelty ones were $99.

check out a price with benardi honda , they're in Connecticut , been getting parts from them for a few years now . they're a dealership , they have everything

Skull cap is cheap. Price the mirror assembly that doesn't come with the skull cap. BTW: the mirror assembly is on Galactic back order or so my Honda dealer told me

Maybe it's actually made in the Fit Mexico factory which is shut down until Nov.

or da supplier flooded too. id just get a used one if u can find and wrap it either glossy black or faux CF.
