Sent text notification
I have a pixel 2 and a 2015 Honda Fit LX - the mid-range model.
first the problem After successfully connecting my phone to the vehicle all the text messages I send from the phone trigger a notification on the cars screen. This happens if I use Google assistant or if I'm a passenger but connected to the Bluetooth. #donttextanddrive I have tried repeatedly to solve this problem by adding, and removing devices from my Bluetooth device list. Each time I try and tweak the settings on either the phone or the car. But it keeps happening. It's rely distracting and only recently started happening with my phone. Before, for some reason it did not. My wife has the same phone and from the start she had the same problem. Is this happening to anyone else and has anyone found a work around? |
Check if these features are not fully compatible with your particular phone/car:

Thanks. My phone and phone service didn't exist until after the car was off the assembly line. So they didn't test it.

I posted this a while ago and sounds like it's the same behavior: https://www.fitfreak.net/forums/3rd-...one-issue.html
I never did solve it. |
