Hope the do something about that back section. Looks chunky like a scion xb. Front actually looks like a scion xa.

Overall, doesn't look like a Fit, but maybe it's the camo.

well , wider is always better , must have even more room in it , bottom line though , if all they are offering is a turbo , i'll pass .
i like my '19 LX 6 speed with it's little 1.5 , probably the last old school honda we'll ever see

Keep in mind there will likely be a different powerplant for the US market. Also, it's hard to tell what the final shape will be. Those photos are taken with a long telephoto lens and show a foreshortened image. At any rate, I'm not going to panic yet. If it debuts in '20 in the Japanese market, we will probably get it in '21, if Honda follows previous model introduction schedules.

I do like that part! I also like that it might be less micro-van'ish?

Looking forward to seeing what it looks like and what drivetrains are available. No matter how great, I wouldn't buy the first year though. I no longer think ALL Honda's are good buys.

Yikes. Looks terrible and very scion reminiscent. Looks like the honda we used to love is no more. The fit now is what the civic was, im afraid this new fit will become so fat and boring honda will have to market the brio here to fill the subcompact void the nextgen fit is outgrowing, just as the fit filled the void the civic left behind when it became a fat slob.

Got to agree with Uncle Gary. I'm betting the US market will be disappointed as other markets get features that would make the next gen Fit extremely attractive. The desire to avoid cutting into sales of the Civic, HRV, and, possibly, the CRV will be the overriding consideration when Honda produces the next US version.

Think of this...

Due to the flood they likely will be opening with mostly new personnel. They will then get going smoothly again just in time for a model change over.

I'm not sure I'd buy a Mexican made Fit till at least 2021 model year. Bet we are going to see a whole lot of crud on this board.

Hard for people that started their journey on FF with a GK to know, but the first 7 years of this board were all about JDM goodies, track events, and modification suggestions. Car problem posts were extremely rare and usually boiled down to user error. I bet 2019/2020 will be lively...in the wrong sort of way.

so true dat GK owners all post about their car's BS more so than their decorations. ive had so many problems on the GK i will probably never buy another honda especially vtc actuator noise prone to all (?) their engines.. im sure other brands have other issues but why so much on the Fit.. the one car i still like the shape from honda.
