Looking for insight on wheels

Hey guys, I’m considering buying new wheels for my 2015, ran across these on Amazon and I like them. Wondering if anyone has any insight on wheel size, offsets etc.? I am wondering if these will fit without issue. I am considering lowering the car, in the spring. Let me know what you think!

I’m also considering other options, saw someone recently with bronze colored wheels on their modern steel metallic and it looked good. Any product links or insight on sizing would be appreciated. Also, I am planning on running stock 16 inch tires

Offset is at 40 if I'm reading the listing correctly. You may have some rubbing after lowering as the stock rim offset is 53 (EX and up) unless you add camber or do some fender modding.

Thanks for the insight (isn't that a Honda model? :) anyway, I definitely don't want any fender modifications, I'd like to be able to re-sell the car in the future.. I'll keep hunting .

You'll be hard pressed to find any aftermarket wheels with as high of an offset as the stock rims though. If you do, post it.

Will do, Most I see are 40-45

Team Dynamic wheels used to offer customization of offset. Their Pro-Race 1.2 were nice wheels Had a set a couple years ago. I assume they still offer the service?

yah, unless you plan to lower your ride, ET40's going to have a bit of a poke on the front. my GK runs ET42 16x7 for winter and honestly i think it looks pretty crappy but its the old winter set from my '12 GE i sold a while back, so been using it to use up the tires.

WedsSport offers a few 16" wheels @ offset 48 or 50.

Do you guys think if I don’t lower the car and use the 40 offset wheels I’ll be ok? Is anyone running 40s like these? I was really hoping to keep the factory 16 inch tires because they are brand new.

By ok do you mean not rub? Yes you should be ok if you don't lower the car and run 40 offset wheels. The front will just poke out a bit.

If you use the factory 185/55-16 tires, offset 40 should be ok, though I would suggest offset 45 at least. However, keep in mind that tire manufacturers recommend 6.5 inches as the maximum wheel width for 185 tires.

These are 38s if I remember correctly. Fronts do stick out. Looks kinda goofy, but after 2 summers I haven't had an issue with rubbing. I'm a pretty aggressive driver too.

Hey, I just want to thank everyone for their input on this topic, I decided to leave the wheels alone for now, looks like a 45 offset is what is needed. This way I am not limited in lowering options later if I decide to do it. Thanks again! ( I did order a set of jdm red center caps for the wheels, that would be nice for now )

sounds like a plan to me. ive always liked the factory wheels on the GK.

I run Advanti Storm S1 17x7 +35 offset wheels with 205/45R17 (Also rally armor universal flaps). I'm on stock suspension and have rubbed exactly once on my drivers side front wheel; while driving at 65 mph, turning, and hitting a big dip on the interstate. Even when it rubbed it only hit the liner and not the metal. I like the flush look on the front and the rear top edge is about 5-10 mm in from flush with the fender. You can use tire rack's wheel website to find wheels that will fit your car and see how they look.

yah too much poke in the front. id lower it and get some camber bolts and max negative camber on the front. usually net -2

I would go with a set of 2018 Sport blacked out wheels. Another option is to find a set of HFP (Honda Factory Performance) wheels.
