100000

On a driveabout (three rules, no destination, no interstate, no GPS) and she hit the 100k mark.

Did an out of warranty review at 36001 miles with pros/cons, so I won't repeat here.. https://www.fitfreak.net/forums/3rd-...019-36001.html

At 100,000 miles here's the adds..

The Bean was built the last week of December 2014. I feared all the quality issues I've read here. Bad starter, bad battery, water leaks. Well, here to report, other than warped rotors, she's done very well! Still on factory battery as well (I do keep a jump starter in the hatch). Afraid to think this, but it's never tossed a code yet.

I'm an old fat guy with arthritis, 6' 1" at 265. Seats are fine. I just did 1705 miles in a four day driveabout and I'm ready to do it again! At this mileage the seats, as expected, are starting to break down a bit and show wear. The normal left side bottom bolster, and the right shoulder one as well. The right shoulder bothers me a bit, but not quite to the point of junkyard hopping for a newer one.

It does have a tendency to hydroplane pretty easy as the tires wear, so I'm on my third set of tires. Otherwise I'd still have quite a few miles on the second set.

I beat on it pretty hard. Dirt roads, autocross, 80mph. Still rock solid. There's a slight underdash rattle from time to time but that's it. No suspension thuds. Soild.

I whined pretty hard about the 6 gear at 36001 mile review and got expected responses. At 100k, all I can say about the 6 gear is meh. I'm used to it. 5th gear is the loneliest gear. Bought an MX5 as a toy, and I really enjoy it's 6 speed.

I've never reset Trip B. Over 100000.4 miles it's averaged 37.5mpg. For the way I drive, that's pretty darn good!

I let the dealer brake flush it at 80k. I'll do radiator flush, plugs and valve adjustments when the weather warms up.

Final thoughts? I'm I happy with the Fit? Absolutely. For an "entry level" car, it's far exceeded expectations. On to 200000!!

Fantastic...congratulations! I'm at 35K miles after 4 1/2 years living in a very walkable town, and I hope to have my Fit for many more years. No problems to report.

My 2017 LX CVT hit 30K miles. Everything is just fine. The OEM Firestones tires are still good. I will have them rotated at Discount Tires after new year. Recent 400 mile trip I was getting an indicated 57mpg for the first 75 miles, one person in car. The car has the back seats and undercover removed, permanently, not for saving weight, but for convenience. It went down to 49mpg when I encountered slight traffic. Nevertheless, I am impressed with the Fit's economy to get me from A to B, and current gas price in TX is about $1.87/gallon 87 oct unlead. My expectation will be no less in the future.

Mine has the same build date 12/14 and so far trouble free at 69k. I've done regular maintenance and also on the original battery.

Good job getting to 100 grand and here's hoping to a few more 100ks

Congratulations. My son's Fit was totaled at about 89,000, so he gets a chance to start all over again.
