I found this link regarding the road debris issue for the Honda Odyssey.

The consumables...

Honda specifies the drain plug crush washer replacement at each oil change, and those plastic fasteners are short-lived.

Anyone have a dealer PN for a consumable kit?

The rear clips for the splash pan cost me about a dollar each at my local dealer. You can find them cheaper online (Bernardi), but the shipping cost negates any savings. The next time I change my oil, I'm going to figure something better for those two rear points.

I just changed my oil for the first time in my 2017 LX CVT.
I was scared of breaking the plastic fasteners so I had a couple spare just in case. I didn't need them, and the job went very smoothly. Every Honda I've owned has been easier to do an oil change. On the 06 Accord my wife had the filter was on the back of the engine and you had to go through the suspension arms or in behind the passenger side wheel to get it off! The fit is a piece of cake after that, even with having to remove the plastic tray!
