18/19 Fit aftermarket stereo (double din)?
So I'm considering trading in my 2016 Fit for a 2019. I have a Sony double-din CarPlay unit in my 2016. I was looking around on Crutchfield to see if I could move it to a 2019 and it seems only single-din units will fit the 2018/2019 Fits. All the double din-units say not compatible. When I look at pictures of the 2018/2019 Fit interiors they look to have a similar all screen center unit as my 2016.
Anyone with an 2018/2019 Fit try to install an aftermarket stereo? How'd it work? Did Honda re-designed what's behind that screen in the newer Fits so you really can only upgrade with single din units? |
Prolly wont find anyone. There are no adapters for aftermarket 2018+ Fits. Different plug shape, and pin out config different. May be another year or so before the aftermarket community catches up.

I think 2018-2019 have Apple CarPlay

Thanks Bass, but Crutchfield has some stereo's listed and the parts that come with include the wiring harness, but what seems like isn't available is the dash kits, is that what you mean?
