Come on, Honda - if Kia can retro-update to CarPlay, why can't you?

Hopefully since it's possible to add a background image, then maybe the same mechanism can allow a firmware update. :nod::confused:
If it doesn't, I only use my phone for streaming music and waze with maybe the occasional incoming phone call so no big loss for me. |

Agree. They showed it running on a 2014 model Civic… Although I wouldn't put it past Apple to tell them "performance is not up to our expectations" or similar and simply not allow them to implement. es |
Sorry but let's not blame Apple on this one. When Apple announced CarPlay, Honda stated that they will continue with their HondaLink technology. 2 years later they are still behind.
