We may get some snow in the beginnin of next week, but I don't think it stays for more than some hours. Likely I'm going to mount winter tyres in mid November.
How are those headlights? I've been thinking of buying them or retrofitting some projectors, but i dont know. I love the look but dont know about the performance at night, cutoff, etc...

The low-beam of the headlights is really great. It's bright and illuminates the area as well as possible within the regulations. Unfortunately highg-beam is not on same level. The beam is narrow and shallow, if the road is winding or hilly, you don't see it as well as with good halogens. Unfortunately the reflector for low and high beams is one piece, so you cannot adjust them separately.

LED headlights were included in the Dynamic trim level, which was only possibility to get more powerful 1.5 liter 130 hp engine. So there was no choice regarding the headlights. I have no expereience of Jazz halogen headlights, so it is difficult to say which headlights I'd take if I had choice.

I didnt realise they were oem, i saw them on ebay for around $400 and was curious since i like the look.
Now when you asked, I made a comparison between my 2019 GK5 Jazz (European model) LED headlights and pretty decent H4 halogen headlights of 1989 Peugeot 309. Unfortunately I don't have a camera, where I could fix the aperture, shutter speed and sensitivity between pictures, so the difference in brightness cannot be evaluated from these pictures, but they prove my point regarding the high-beam size. Pictures are taken on same point holding the camera on top of the steering wheel. There is about an hour time between the shots, so the dark blue sky visible at the end of the road in halogen pictures is already all black in LED pictures.
The low-beam of the Jazz's LED headlights has very bright and wide beam, it's really excellent, whereas the high-beam does not give so much more. It's narrow and shallow. You can see that the high-beam of the H4 halogen gives more light to sides and shows also higher, which is much better on winding and hilly roads.
it might be the fault of the camera, but the LED doesnt look much better than the halogen, especially for the highbeam.
I did put in some auxito h4 led bulbs in my 2020, and they kept the same cutoff line with no spots above the cutoff so I think I'll continue using those for now.
The 3D MAXpider classic floor liners arrived this week and I got them on floor today. First appearance is good. They fit nicely and cover e.g. driver's dead pedal and rear floor completely reaching under the seat. I wanted to find mats, that takes the mud also when folding the rear seat bases up. Durability and cleanability remains to be seen.
I will remove the "3D" deacal from front mats. Just need to get the rivets drilled off and put new rivets to plug the holes.
It has been freezing for many nights and it has been snowing too, so it was time to change the winter tires. Like most cars, Jazz conveniently lifts both wheels on one side, when jacking from front lifting point.
And that's how the winter wheels look under the car.
I got her washed yesterday and it was a nice weather to take a picture.
After looking the winter wheels for few weeks, I have to admit they are not looking as good as I wished.
Bit frosty this morning. -27 °C is -17 °F. Dashboard shows one or two degrees higher temperature than house thermometers because the car was pre-heated. Does anybody know where the Jazz's outside temperature sensor is actually located?
At last I got the full size spare tyre on place. Besides the rim and tire I needed to order following items: 84550-T5S-T30 Box assy, cargo floor 83850-SD2-000 Plate, anchor bolt 83853-SA7-980 Bolt, anchor, 79 mm 89211-S05-003 Wrench, wheel Jack I'm trying to find used, because it was rather expensive from Honda.
Maybe the foam tool holder is made for markets where standard tire is 175, because it was slightly too high in order to get floor fitting nicely. Fortunately there was three separate fome pads underneath, which were easy to tear away.
Original front towing eye is also longer than the place for it. I need to have a look if the shorter neck would be sufficient and if so, shorten it.
Edit: I forgot to mention, that I bought a Dunlop all-season tire for the spare. Something better than summer tire if it's needed in winter and no defined direction of rotation.
Spring is arriving to Finland and eventhough most nights are still below zero C, day temperature reaches +15 C. So I put the summer tires on to my Jazz. Before mounting I routinely measured the groove depth. And the result confirms that Dunlop Sport is really soft! After only 5000 km the difference between front and rear is already 1 mm. I do circulate front and rear tyres annually, so at the end the wear will be pretty even. The next summer tires will be something with better wear resistance.
Some days ago we made a 800 km (500 mile) road trip with trailer to collect some timber from eastern Finland. Here is the combination ready for the trip, just need to unplug the block heater.
And this is the load. 6.5 m² (70 sqft) of 50 mm (2") thick hand hewn timber panels. Total mass of the trailer and load is about 450 kg (1000 lbs), which is the maximum un-braked trailer mass for the Jazz.
I have been trying to get base model center console between the front seats. It's been used in Canadian base model GK Fit as well as in Asian markets. I've become so annoyed to this armrest and storage obstructing the access to rear footwell, that I really wanted to get that low and open console.
Canadian source for Honda parts have had ridiculous shipping costs and they do not response to any requests. Then I found a source in US and even orderd the console, but then they informed me, that the part was discontinued. I have been looking ebay, but no luck. Even tried to find Canadian salvage yards from the Internet. Last week I realized, that long time ago I copied the link to a Japanese parts dealer from this forum.
I have now ordered the part from JDM Yamato from Japan. It has different product number because it is intended to JDM GK4 FIT, so let's see if the colour is different. But I think I can live with it, if that's the case. When the console arrives I must develop a place to mount the seat heater switches.
I've been thinking of mounting the heated seats switches to a different location too. Not sure where as it is very thick. Maybe possible to hack into the blank switch ports on the drivers left side. I haven't measured and it would probably involve a bit of cutting.
The outer temp sensor is just behind the lower front grill.
