Unofficial Honda FIT Forums - gk5

I picked up a mystic yellow pearl 2017 GK5 a couple months ago as a daily and have ~~slowly~~ quickly picked up the mod bug. Not surprising, as my other car is a 2017 Civic Type R FK8 - which I'm trying to keep from racking up too many miles on too quickly.

So far, the mod list isn't too extensive but I'm mainly focusing on doing aesthetic and suspension mods only. Also trying to keep up with a vague Spoon theme as I plan on adding Spoon Brakes and the Spoon CF Hood in the future. Would have gone with SW388s for wheels, but opted for the Rotas since this car is parked outside and tbh I don't want to feel too awful about curbing them for the time being. Who knows, I'll likely change my mind in the future.

And TBH, the car is 90% perfect as it is stock and I enjoy driving it just as much as I enjoy driving the FK8. The Swift springs and Advan summer tires bring things up to 95% too as the car is much more planted and the steering feels just that tad heavier that I like with added road feedback. Really hoping just adding more powerful brakes to allow greater speed into corners will completely perfect the car for me and I'll be 100% satisfied. Power-wise, I'm totally fine with stock as I absolutely love revving it out and still being at a decent speed. Just needed a muffler for a bassier exhaust note.

- Spoon CF Hood (Still have yet to figure out if JDM and USDM GK5s share the same hood)
- Spoon SW388/Advan TC4 (Indigo Blue) (haven't decided yet)
- Spoon Air Filter
- RS GK5 Spoiler
- RS GK5 Side Skirts
