Acuity Instruments shift boot collar upgrade installed! Thank you, nisco, for taking the time to create a write-up specifically for the GK5. It was extremely helpful!
Check it out here:

This upgrade was a no-brainer for me. I didn't like the saggy shift boot, but I hadn't come up with a solution until I saw Acuity's shift boot collar upgrade.
Here's how I was running my shift boot prior to the boot collar upgrade:
I set the shift boot collar lower so it wouldn't rub against the shift knob and potentially cause any marring to the finish of the shift knob.
Disassembly was a breeze thanks to nisco's write-up!
All done!
No more sag!

I did order through ICB, but they're sold out now.

Thanks, Scott! I forgot to mention that I followed your suggestion and used a rubber band.

How do you like the feel and weight of the new knob over oem? is it the same height?

I've used the duracon version of the Spoon Sports shift knob in a different car and I loved it! The aluminum version is even better!
The Spoon Sports aluminum shift knob weighs 120 grams while the OEM shift knob weighed in at 62 grams just moments ago on my $5 food scale.
The cool thing about the Spoon Sports shift knob is that it's height adjustable, so you can set it where you want it.

Hi Kevin! I also have the spoon side mirror, however have you test fitted yours? Mine actually came too small.. i checked the part number and we have the same exact ones. Maybe the side mirrors on jdm were small? Have you put yours yet?

With the help of my friend, Gabe, I installed:
Techna-Fit stainless steel brake lines (P/N: HN-2615)
Spoon Sports stainless steel clutch line (P/N: 46961-GE8-000)
Endless RF-650 brake fluid
Feedback from the brake and clutch pedals with the Endless RF-650 brake fluid is AMAZING!
This brake fluid is rather pricey, but it's definitely worth every penny to me.
I ordered my brake fluid through John from Corner3 Motorsports. John is a stand-up guy. Don't hesitate to contact them if you need anything for your Fit!
Thanks again, Gabe, for all of your help today!
