You guys didn't record the confusion and smack talk when it came to installing the rear suspension! :P

17x7.5" ET45 Enkei NT03+Ms wrapped in 215/45/17 Federal 595RS-RR tires. Thanks a million, Steve!

She looks great with the new wheels! How's the ride quality with the 17s?

I found the 215/45/17 Federal 595RS-RR tires offered a smoother ride than my 205/50/16 Firestone Firehawk Indy 500s.

Lol I actually took them off the car. I want to powder coat them and problly do some 215’s or 225’s idk yet. I want to get the coilovers and dial all that in before I jump the gun and buy tires.

Whatever you say, boss. I forgot you were riding along in the car with my friend and I after we mounted his wheels on my car.

Yep. Long story short, I settled big time when I bought this car.

I've wanted an S2000 for the past 5 years or so and I really regret not going with one instead of the Fit.

I thought if I modified the Fit, I wouldn't feel as bad about it, but that didn't turn out to be the case.

I like the saying of buy once, cry once. When you settle you always think how much better life would have been if I just got that thing I really wanted instead. Life's too short to let that stuff get in the way (so long as your other priorities/needs are met of course).

I'm right there as well. I love how logical the fit is. Great mpg, still fun, can haul anything.

But then I saw a Type R in person at the local dealership... and i've been crunching numbers since then.

I'm gonna be selfish and say, its gonna suck to lose ya. all I ask is, pop in every now and then to chat and throw down some knowledge (which you have tons of)

back on topic, I still think you should keep both. the s2k as the "fun car" and the fit as your mega reliable dd that you're gonna beat on for the next 10 yrs. you live in so cal, there are just some days (or sketchy places) where you cant take out the s2k. also too, having a beater keeps the mileage low on that s2k =)

Yep. I don't utilize the extra cargo space of the Fit whatsoever, so that argument is out the window. MPG isn't spectacular either because I go on spirited drives often.

Just wait until you drive it. I rented an S2000 for my birthday, two years ago, and I haven't gotten over that experience to this day. The car is absolutely phenomenal.

I could pull that off, but I'd rather not at the moment. I've never cared about racking up miles because cars are meant to be driven. I never go to sketchy places either.

Dailying an S2000 is doable.

But I'd never only drive my AP1. Having the Fit to drive regularly makes the S2000 feel much more special.

No need to justify buddy, I completely understand . If you can afford it, go for it. I feel too tall for the S2000. My buddy sold his crazy fast modded Evo X a few years ago for an S2000 CR and loves it.

I’m sure dailying is doable as mike410b (awesome S2K btw!) said. Although, I have an FRS/86 for the summer, and it’s a ton of fun switching between the two cars.

Wise choice, haha.

They're appreciating in value significantly.
