FiTuna's Milano Red Sport

Seems like I finally have my photobucket back up so I'll try to share some pics:
Some OEM accessories and a "Type R" rear badge all about it for now.
EDIT>>
Only some pics are working.

A few updates:

Installed my dash cam last week.
So far so good..
have some garage pics to share

I purchased this one:
Rexing V1LG Dual Channel Car Dash Cam FHD 1080p

It has a rear camera that can be toggled through 3 different screens:

split screen:

Rear Screen Only:

Front screen only:

The install is very easy but I did get the hardwire kit so that it hooks up into my fuse box and I put a toggle switch on it so I can leave it on for extended times when needed:

What I really like is the software that shows GPS and speed data when playing back:

I did adjust my angle after these pictures, but I still get a lot of the dash glare in the windshield..
Nature of the beast I suppose.

Here is the rear camera mounted:

Inside

outside:

I always feel people tailgate the crap out of me in smaller vehicles, the Fit is no exception!
SO....
Thanks to ericd07 for showing us this thing..

It was about as easy to install as popping open the wire bundle as it goes through the rear hatch area,
cut and splice 4 wires, tuck it back in and good to go!

Pics show the routine

Test fit the module to see if it'll go through the hole.

Unwrapped the lt green and black wires:

No going back now:

Install some shrink wrap tubing BEFORE you re-solder the wires:

tuck it all back in and hope for no rattles....

Need a video...

Looks great - The door sill is really neat to see. I was thinking about it at one point, but looked pricey for what it is (at least in Canada). Really like that sport diffuser and wish there was one for the pre-facelift GK5.

On a whim I ordered new brighter LED back up bulbs.
Amazon specials..

2 8mm bolts and out it comes

Side by side comparison... Left is LED, right is original..

You can see against the garage door that the LED is whiter, not sure it is much brighter..
Oh well

Some great work!!

Do you have any pics of the entire car that show the rear spoiler by chance?

Thanks!

Other than the nighttime picture above, and this one below, I really don't have any good whole car shots.
Now that the weather is nice I need to get a few glamour shots.

It wasn't too hard as long as you don't mind under dash wiring!
I also installed the ambient under dash lights at the same time.
Took me about an hour and half or so.
The actual sill trim parts are no big deal. Position, clean, peel, and stick.

You have to slice into the weather strip to run the wire inside to lip.

Here are the Honda directions for the illuminated door sill trim

Here is the ambient light instructions too.
They hook into the OE harness very similar to the sill lights, but not exact.
It took a while to figure that part out.

I installed the footwell lighting, super easy . I did cheap out (honestly) on the door sills and went with some generic ebay ones. I suspect the install may be slightly more difficult, as no harness/adapters will be included for the installation

My fancy $13 3rd brake light flasher module went kaput.

Contacted seller to see if they'll replace..
I'll update later.
